Gold Light Studios/Murdoch Art Studio are the studio of Bucks county artist John Scott Murdoch and the school, which offers full and part-time classes. Classes are taught by John Murdoch and artist David Rivera. *** We're happy to announce a move to a larger studio as of August 2nd! The new studio features over 3,000 square feet of space for model sessions, the atelier, John Murdoch's studio and rental space for artists! The school offers atelier training in classical European methods of learning how to see and handle materials. The school also offers lessons in the form of classes, private instruction and portfolio preparation for high schoolers who are college bound. The studio and school are located in the heart of Bucks county in a 3,000 square foot facility which offers studio space for dedicated students and artists, as well as a full 180 degree view of the live model complete with classical lighting in the main drawing room. The school offers a step beyond just another workshop. It's a long term commitment to student growth and mastery of materials and techniques. John is a member of Artists of Yardley and Artsbridge and teaches outside his studio at The Princeton Arts Council and at Riverrun Gallery in Lambertville, NJ.
